Ana Dordevic is a Berlin based internationally recognised dance soloist and choreographer. Her broad dance horizons encompass everything from classical to contemporary dance, bringing an exuberance matched with uncompromising dance standards to all her performances.
Bio
Ana obtained her dance education at the Serbian National Ballet school, at Academy Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo, followed by further studies at the Heinz Bosl Stiftung in Munich.
She embarked on her professional career performing at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and Theater Dortmund. For the next ten years she was engaged as a soloist at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Dusseldorf and Theater Augsburg. In her professional career, Ana worked with choreographers and directors from around the world including Martin Schlepfer, Itzik Galili, Christian Spück, Georg Reichl and Anabelle Lopez Ochoa and performed peaces by William Forsythe,George Balanchine, Jiri Kylian and many others..
The mix of international influences, stylistic schools, choreographers and directors is reflected in her unique dance approach. She effortlessly engages with the audience on a deeply contemplative level leaving them mystified and moved by her sincerity.
